Ohio Historical Marker Re-Installed

A late spring windstorm toppled the Berea District Seven School Ohio Historical Marker at its base where it was erected in 1999. It commemorates the historic architecture of the 1913 Berea Schoolhouse by the Ohio Historical Society as a fine example of district school buildings of the early 20th century. The re-installed marker plaque is now embedded in a concrete pedestal extending below ground level. It will stand tall again for many, many decades into this 21st century.
